Manage analytics
Use the button above, or the permanent Analytics settings link in the footer, to allow or reject Google Analytics. Before permission is given, the site does not request the Google Analytics library and does not send consent-status pings to Google.
If analytics is withdrawn after it has been allowed, the page reloads after updating consent so the Google library is no longer active. The site also attempts to remove first-party cookies whose names begin with _ga.

What consent enables
Allowing analytics enables aggregate page, device, session, and engagement reporting. The site also records a deliberately small event set: substantial article reads, use of sharing or citation controls, outbound source domains, and declared commercial-link interactions. Event values are controlled by the publication code; arbitrary reader-entered text is not accepted.
Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalisation remain denied even after analytics is allowed. See theprivacy notice for processing, retention, provider, and rights information.
Future advertising
The current choice is for analytics only. If Techno Guru introduces personalised advertising or another materially different use of browser storage, it will use an appropriate consent platform and ask separately before that technology is enabled. The present analytics choice will not be silently repurposed as advertising consent.
